Becoming Objects uses glitches, repetition, mirroring, and material translation to destabilize the authority of an image. Beginning with recognizable source material—landscape, geological formations, paper, or ordinary objects—the images are repeatedly altered until they hover between recognition and abstraction, becoming almost legible as something else. Rather than resolving into a fixed representation, each work occupies a state of perceptual slippage, where one image appears to mutate into another.

Beginning with a photographic representation of one thing followed by transforming through digital manipulation or translation into another form that suggest geodes, pearls, bodies, or unfamiliar objects. Across the series, this process of becoming treats the glitch not as error but as a generative force, revealing how easily images can shift meaning as they move between code, material, scale, and perception. Becoming Objects asks when an image/object stops representing one thing and begins to produce another.
